The Lok Gu Garden project is located in Happy Valley on Hong Kong Island. The design team aimed to improve the residence's functionality and circulation, connecting public and private zones through the spatial layout. Lighting, materials and storage were integrated to maintain visual coherence and practicality, providing an urban dwelling that responds to the surrounding community character and contemporary living needs.
The design team focused on improving the home's functionality and circulation. Through spatial planning, the revised layout maintains overall efficiency, links shared living areas with private zones, and provides a comfortable, pleasant domestic atmosphere.
In shaping the interior environment, the designers selected materials and integrated lighting to maintain visual consistency throughout the residence. These design elements respond to everyday functional needs and provide a balanced, coherent aesthetic for the space.
To suit contemporary lifestyles, the design integrates multiple storage functions. From the entrance shoe cabinet to the kitchen and walk‑in wardrobe, storage is planned systematically to provide capacity without compromising a sense of spaciousness, helping to maintain order at home.
The completed residence presents a practical and refined living environment, reflecting the neighbourhood character of Happy Valley with its residential appeal and convenient amenities. It provides residents with spaces that support comfortable daily living and expresses the qualities of a mature urban apartment.
