On August 10, 2025, ED Design held a grand opening ceremony at its Wan Chai flagship store. The event brought together Chief Designer and company founder Ed Lau, VIP guests, industry partners, and all employees to celebrate a decade of growth and witness a new beginning.
The opening ceremony officially began at 11:30 AM, with prominent industry guests arriving one after another. The MC kicked off the event, and a brief 2-minute narration reviewed the key moments of the past decade—from the company's founding to securing its first project, and from a small studio with just a few team members to now boasting a large team. Founder Ed Lau expressed that every achievement has been hard-earned.
Following this, ED Design founder Ed Lau, along with Taylor Yeung, the founder of the Smart Home Experience Center, and partner Mike Cheng, jointly participated in the ribbon-cutting and roasted pig ceremony to celebrate. All guests in attendance offered their heartfelt blessings.
To express gratitude for the continuous support of guests and clients, the opening ceremony specially invited a highly talented local fashion designer from VDLM to collaborate on creating a limited-edition T-shirt as a gift for everyone.
Finally, all attendees gathered for a group photo in front of the entrance, chanting the slogan, “ED Design, Thriving Business, Build Your Future!” The ceremony concluded perfectly in a relaxed atmosphere of interaction, marking the beginning of ED Design's next decade.
