The interior design for Wah Luen (Hong Kong) Office responds to requirements for productivity, team collaboration and operational efficiency. The design team focused on spatial planning and circulation to balance areas for focused work and interactive exchange. By providing meeting facilities, shared spaces and open-plan work areas, and by integrating the natural daylight and Victoria Harbour views visible in the photographs, it delivers a modern office environment that combines functionality with a professional image to support the company's daily operations.
A small round-table meeting area was arranged within the office, with timber flooring and frosted-glass partitions. This arrangement provides a shared space for informal discussions, helping to support daily interaction and maintain spatial adaptability.
The reception is fitted with a white curved service desk paired with a dark backdrop and marble-effect floor tiles, creating visual contrast. The area is designed to meet an organisation's need to present a professional image, providing a clear visual focus at the office entrance.
The layout of the open-plan office emphasises internal circulation. Dark grey storage cabinets and patterned carpets are placed between workstations; while maintaining visual openness, they also provide staff with settings conducive to focused work, helping to balance different working modes.
The large meeting room is furnished with a wooden conference table and ergonomic chairs, and features expansive glazing. Ample natural light and views across Victoria Harbour provide a bright setting for teamwork and business meetings, responding to the design objective of improving the space's practicality.
