The Bloomberg Hong Kong office pantry and meeting room project is intended to provide spaces that support communication and collaboration in a professional corporate environment. The design team focused on acoustics, seating arrangements and lighting conditions, and used timber finishes and a feature jellyfish display to create a comfortable yet visually coherent atmosphere that supports productivity and corporate identity.
The design uses a wood‑grain finish as a feature wall and incorporates a jellyfish tank to enliven the professional office environment. The choice of materials and detailing maintains visual continuity. The meeting room's spatial layout is planned to support formal discussions and team collaboration. Through seating arrangements and circulation design, it provides employees and clients with a dedicated place for exchange. To meet the meeting room's need to accommodate various commercial activities, the design team focused on acoustic performance and lighting. Lighting was coordinated with sound-insulation detailing to create a functional environment. The pantry area features an island bar and greenery that visually echo the feature wall. This open shared space provides a place for brief respite; the photographs show the pantry's island bar, the greenery and a jellyfish tank in the background.
