A closer look

With limited natural light on the original basement level, we use full-height glazed doors and a circular ceiling light cove to create an even, brighter setting. An open living, dining and kitchen arrangement, softened by warm timber, a kitchen island and round table, keeps everyday movement connected, calm and adaptable.

The open-plan living and dining design connects social and everyday living spaces.

The design capitalises on the villa's generous proportions by linking the living room, dining area and open kitchen. This layout enhances spatial permeability and provides settings for family interaction while maintaining flexibility across the zones. Photographs show an open kitchen and dining area with an island bar and a round dining table.

Warm materials and concealed lighting create a comfortable, home-like ambience

Warm timber elements are paired with a restrained colour palette, and continuity is achieved across spaces through concealed light strips and feature pendants. This brings a cosy, comfortable atmosphere to the generous living areas. Photographs show a minimalist sofa, TV wall and a distinctive coffee table in the living area.

Concealed storage design balancing spatial aesthetics and long‑term practicality

Alongside refined design, attention is given to long‑term functionality and adaptability. The entrance and corridor areas include timber concealed storage cabinets and display spaces to meet modern household storage needs while maintaining overall order and aesthetic. The photographs show timber storage cabinets and artwork in the entrance corridor.

A multifunctional Japanese-style tea room provides a tranquil resting corner

To address diverse contemporary family needs, the design incorporates a flexible multifunctional space. The Japanese‑style tea room uses tatami and timber display cabinets to create a quiet corner for reading or quiet rest. The photograph shows the tea room furnished with tatami, a low table and wooden display cabinets.
