ED DESIGN / WEBSITE & ENQUIRY

Privacy Policy

This policy explains how the ED Design website and project enquiry process handle personal data. It distinguishes the consent needed to submit an enquiry from optional analytics and advertising-measurement choices.

You may read this page before deciding on analytics or advertising settings. Reading it does not accept any optional tracking.

01

What we collect

When you submit a project enquiry, we process the details you provide so that we can understand the project and contact you. The form asks for a name, project type and location, plus at least one contact method—an email address or telephone number. Area, timing and a project brief are optional.

  • Your name and at least one contact detail: email address or telephone number;
  • Project type, location, area, anticipated timing and any project brief you choose to provide;
  • Technical form data used to protect the form, such as data needed to prevent automated submissions.

02

How we use information

We use enquiry information to respond to your project enquiry, arrange follow-up communication and, where needed, allow the studio to follow up on the project. These uses are needed to submit an online enquiry and are separate from optional analytics or advertising measurement.

We do not include your name, project message or project address in the Meta advanced-matching activity described on this page.

03

Where enquiry information goes

Protected backend

An enquiry is first stored in ED Design’s protected backend so that the studio can handle and follow it up.

Resend, company and workflow notifications

After an enquiry is created, the system uses Resend to send an enquiry notification to the ED Design studio and an existing workflow notification to support the team’s handling of the message. Notifications contain only information needed to handle the enquiry.

Airtable RawLead

In the established lead-handling flow where it is enabled, the system may synchronise information needed to handle an enquiry to an Airtable RawLead record for studio management and follow-up.

04

Required consent and optional choices

Consent needed to submit an enquiry

Before submitting the form, you must confirm that ED Design may use the details entered to respond to that project enquiry and for studio follow-up. Without this consent, the online form cannot be submitted; you may still email the studio directly.

Analytics and advertising measurement

Website analytics and advertising measurement are optional and stay off by default until you choose them in Privacy settings. Declining optional settings does not affect reading the site or the basic handling needed to submit an enquiry.

Meta matching needs two choices

Meta advanced matching is off by default. It can use SHA-256 hashed email and telephone for advertising matching only after you choose Advertising measurement in Privacy settings and separately tick the matching option in the enquiry form. Both choices are optional. Your name, message and project address are not sent for that matching.

05

Retention principle

We retain information only for as long as needed to handle your enquiry, provide services and meet applicable requirements, and not longer than needed. Please contact the studio about the practical retention position for a particular record.

06

Access, correction or deletion requests

You may contact us to ask whether we hold your information, request access to or correction of it, or request deletion. We will handle the request in relation to the request and record concerned; please provide enough information for us to identify your enquiry.
